“During school I was one of the laziest persons in the reading of literature. I was more fascinated by science. One or two months in the university and I was not studying at all. One of the reasons I have continued studying, was Rumi. His poems were fascinating, it changed the entire pathway of my study.

For me Rumi is someone who has showed me the beauty of Dari-language. He showed how one can play with the language through his poems. Reading the his poems in Dari can change your mood just because how it is written. When a  poem is chosen for a song, it should be a catchy poem. When you look into Rumi’s poems, every single one of them has the potential to become a song.”
